Take me out to the Ballgame

Maddie has become slowly obsessed with "ball games" or Cincinnati Reds baseball. She's watched the games on t.v. with her Dad and we took the whole Passage family to a game last Sunday. The weather was beautiful and we rode the ferry from Newport, Kentucky across the river to the stadium. Maddie's shirt just happened to be Joey Votto so she enjoyed yelling "Go Joey Go Joey!" everytime he was up to bat. She also learned to say "Swing batter batter" from her Grandma, tested pink cotton candy and sang "Take me out to the ball game" with the entire crowd. Kalee would cheer/yell everytime the crowd clapped or cheered so she fit right in. She is also a full time walker now so she loved walking on top of the ferry boat. We are looking forward to more games this summer!

Cute Cousins

We met my cousin Serena and her daughter Kinsley for breakfast today. We thought it was cute that all the girls had their hair in "hairy tails" as Maddie calls them. This picture only took 12 shots to get!

20 weeks!

I can't believe we are already halfway through this pregnancy! I'm really showing and starting to feel it in my back if I'm on my feet too long. Matt is doing a great job helping out with the girls and took Maddie fishing this week so I could rest and get rid of a headache. My major cravings are red slushies and an occasional soft pretzel. I'm very excited the weather is warming up, although my ankles did swell the other night after too much salty food. So I'm sure there's cankles to come. Matt and I are still hoping to take a baby free vacation before July if his project at work is finished on time. I'm really looking forward to sipping iced tea by the pool...while the girls stay with their wonderful grandparents :)

Sharing Sisters

The girls are finally old enough to start playing together and they usually do really well with sharing. Someone from Matt's work gave us this Strawberry Shortcake house with dolls that still smelled like fruit! The girls had a blast playing with these "new" toys and did a great job sharing. If they do have a problem, Maddie will tell me exactly what happened. i.e. "I pulled sissy's hair" or "I took that toy away from her". Even though she isn't sharing at the time, I'm enjoying her telling me the truth while it lasts!
